I’m a humanist wedding celebrant based in West Sussex, and I create truly memorable, heartfelt and FUN ceremonies that will get your marriage off on the right foot - full of love, happy tears and joy.

Forget boring ceremonies you endure before the party starts. I firmly believe that your wedding ceremony should set the tone for your whole day (and marriage), so let’s make it meaningful and pack it with delight.

I love the process of making something together: getting to know you, rummaging around in your memories for the tiny details that make you you, finding the funny bits, discovering the unexpectedly moving ones, and turning them into a ceremony that feels unmistakably yours.

My approach

I combine my love of storytelling, wordsmith skills, and fascination with romance in all its forms to create ceremonies that sparkle with love and joy.

I work from scratch on every script to ensure your wedding ceremony is as unique and specifically wonderful/crackers/romantic/lyrical as you.

There are no hard and fast set formats, but I can guide you through the elements that will help us share your love story in a way that feels completely you. We can keep it simple, or we can incorporate things such as handfasting, ring warming (not as rude as it sounds!), sing-songs, readings, quizzes, tree planting, shot-downing, whatever you can think of…
